Questions We're Often Asked

When should we reserve Wedding Day Management?

We recommend reserving your date as soon as you've secured your venue. While our work begins four to six weeks before your wedding, availability is limited and dates often book well in advance.

Our added service compared to most planner is we are available 24/7 for any questions and advice once your contract is signed.

How is Wedding Day Management different from a day-of coordinator?

Many couples begin their search using the term day-of coordinator, but meaningful coordination begins well before the wedding day. Our process starts four to six weeks before your celebration, giving us time to review your plans, communicate with your vendors, finalize your timeline, and prepare every detail before your wedding arrives.

Do you attend our rehearsal?

Yes. We lead your ceremony rehearsal, guiding your wedding party through the processional, ceremony, and timing so everyone feels confident before the wedding day.

Will you communicate with our vendors?

Absolutely. During the final weeks, we become the primary point of contact for your vendor team, confirming logistics, timelines, and final details so everyone is working from the same plan.

Will you set up our décor and personal details?

Yes. We place your personal décor, signage, guest book, favors, and other meaningful details according to your plans, ensuring everything is ready before your guests arrive.

Do you coordinate both the ceremony and reception?

Yes. From vendor arrivals and ceremony coordination to the final moments of your reception, we oversee the flow of your wedding day while managing the details behind the scenes.

Where do you provide wedding planning and coordination services?

Sovereign K serves couples throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Ojai, Santa Ynez Valley, and the Central Coast. We also accept a limited number of destination weddings each year.

We've planned everything ourselves. Is this service still right for us?

Absolutely. Many of our couples have enjoyed planning their wedding and simply want an experienced professional to take the lead during the final weeks, coordinate their vendors, and oversee the wedding day so they, their families, and their friends can fully enjoy the celebration.
